Refund Guidelines

At EcoScrap, all core listing services, direct buyer communications, categories directory indexing, and basic geolocation search coordinates are provided 100% free of charge. However, for traders opting for paid premium verification badges or featured listing sponsorships, this Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the exact refund terms.


1. Premium Verification Badges

To establish maximum trust, businesses can opt to purchase our "Verified Yard/Seller" badge. Our security team reviews GST documentation, corporate licenses, and physical yard photographs manually. The verification fee is non-refundable once the audit process begins, as it covers direct human auditing labor costs.

CANCELLATION: If you request cancellation before our verification audit team begins evaluating your corporate documents (typically within 4 hours of payment), a 100% full refund will be processed back to your original payment method.

2. Sponsored & Featured Listings

Sellers can sponsor listings to pin them to the top of category searches and sitemaps. Sponsored listing packages operate on a per-day or impressions-based billing cycle. Once the featured listing goes live on the marketplace, no refunds or cancellations can be issued for the active duration.

3. Denied Verification Status

If your business application for the "Verified Trader Badge" is rejected because of suspicious activity, fake GST uploads, or invalid warehouse documentation, EcoScrap reserves the right to deny the badge. In such cases, if no fraud was committed (simply incomplete files), we will refund 50% of the verification fee, retaining 50% for standard document processing costs.

4. Processing Timelines

All approved refunds will be credited back to the user's bank account or digital wallet within 7 to 10 working days, depending on standard card network processing times.
